All About Me
I am very excited to be starting my 31st year in education and my 29th year teaching at Village Meadows. In addition to currently teaching 2nd grade, I have also taught first and third grade, here at Village Meadows.
I was born and raised in New York. However, after graduating Arizona State University, chose to stay and make my life here.
My husband and I have 3 children. Pamela is a first teacher and is married to a High School Science teacher. They have a 3 year old son, which makes me a very proud grandma. Stephanie graduated with honors with her Masters in New York, in corporate communications and our youngest, Bryan, graduated from the University of Arizona. He currently works as an eye technician and hopes to go on to Medical School.
Each new year is like my first. I love my job and look forward to a new class each year.I work to create a safe, nurturing, non-threatening environment; one in which allows the most learning to take place. My enthusiasm for learning is contagious. I want my students to be as excited to be there as I am.
I also believe in open communication. I am there for my parents as well as my students. Parents + Students + Teachers = SUCCESS!!!!
